Local auto dealership partners with Muscular Dystrophy Association to showcase cutting-edge vehicle at walk event

West Palm Beach, FL- The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with local automobile dealership, Schumacher MV-1 of Palm Beach.

Schumacher MV-1 will be a sponsor at the MDA Muscle Walk to be held at the Palm Beach Zoo on Sunday, January 22nd. “We are proud to be partnering with MDA on this event for such a worthy cause, and look forward to the opportunity to introduce this new and unique vehicle that will help so many in our community who have never had a vehicle like this offered to them” said Jim Jordan, who is overseeing market development for Schumacher MV-1 of Palm Beach.

The new MV-1 vehicle is the only factory-built vehicle that meets or exceeds the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), providing the mobility challenged with an option other than aftermarket conversion vans. Schumacher MV-1 is the only MV-1 dealership in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast region to offer this state-of-the-art vehicle.

The Muscle Walk is the signature nationwide event of the MDA. These events are done to heighten awareness about neuromuscular diseases and to raise funds for research as well as patient/family services. The Muscle Walk is a family-oriented gathering and light exercise for everyone----children, adults, grandparents, students, corporate teams and more.

A representative from MV-1 will be on hand the day of the event to share information and answer questions about the vehicle. There will also be an MV-1 on display at the event.

MDA is a voluntary health agency working to defeat more than 43 neuromuscular diseases through worldwide research, comprehensive services and far reaching professional and public health education.
